Renumeration

The remuneration for legal services is agreed with the client. In determining remuneration, we consider the individual nature and complexity of each case and the range of legal services to be provided.

The remuneration can be agreed in following ways:

Time remuneration

  • The remuneration is based on the hours spent by providing services.

Act remuneration

  • The remuneration is based on number of legal acts.

Flat rate remuneration

  • This kind of renumeration is for the clients with long term cooperation. The renumeration is concluded in respect of the time difficulty of legal services and character of legal services.

Share remuneration

  • The renumeration is calculated as share of result. This kind of renumeration could be used by debt collection.

Lawyer´s tariff

  • In case the remuneration is not agreed with the client, the remuneration is governed by the Regulation of the Ministry of Justice No. 177/1996 Coll., on fees and remuneration of lawyers for the provision of legal services (the lawyer´s tariff) as amended.

The remuneration does not include court and administrative fee, remuneration of notary, court expert or the price for the translation. We add to all types of remuneration the cash expenses.


Information for consumer

  • With effect from February 2016, an amendment to the Consumer Protection Act has brought yet another possibility to settle a dispute between a lawyer and their client-consumer if they fail to reach a mutually acceptable compromise. The role of intermediary in this case is vested in the Czech Bar Association. The web site is www.cak.cz
